Role of Media on  Reducing Socio-Economic Burden of Cancer

Roche Bangladesh in collaboration with ‘Bangladesh Health Journalists’ Forum’ & ‘Bangladesh Cancer Society’ organized the discussion session on ‘Role of Media on Reducing Socio-Economic Burden of Cancer’ at Bangladesh Medical  Asociation’s conference hall on 17 July 2018.

Honorable State Minister Zahid Maleque MP graced the event as Chief Guest and during his speech he pledged for cancer prioritization to the PMO and commits to develop 08 Cancer hospitals at 08 divisions. Prof. Dr. Md. Moarraf Hossen, Prof. Dr. M A Hai and renowned oncologists were present at this discussion along with the 30 leading health journalists. Dr. Md. Johirul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Cancer Epidemiology, National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital presented the key-note presentation at this program.
