করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত কোভিড-১৯ রোগীর চিকিৎসায় রোশ কর্তৃক প্রতিষেধক আবিষ্কার হয়েছে শীর্ষক একটি তথ্য সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যম ও কিছু গনমাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের একটি সূত্র উল্লেখপূর্বক সংবাদটি একটি ছবিসহ বিস্তৃতি লাভ করেছে এবং রোশ বাংলাদেশ এর দৃষ্টিগোচর হয়েছে। বস্তুত এটি একটি অসত্য তথ্য এবং এ ধরনের কোন আবিষ্কারের সংবাদ এখনো প্রকাশিত হয়নি। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প এর মিডিয়া ব্রিফিং চলাকালীন সময়ে কোভিড-১৯ রোগী শনাক্তকরণে রোশ এর একটি যন্ত্র বা ডায়াগনস্টিক টুলের জরুরি ব্যবহারের অনুমোদন সংক্রান্ত সংবাদের বিকৃত এবং বানোয়াট তথ্য প্রচার হচ্ছে।

করোনা ভাইরাসের মহামারী মোকাবেলায় কোভিড-১৯ চিকিৎসায় এপর্যন্ত কোন ঔষধ বা প্রতিষেধক উদ্ভাবিত হয়নি। বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থা কিংবা অন্য কোন বৈশ্বিক সংস্থা কোভিড-১৯ চিকিৎসায় এখনো কোন ঔষধ কিংবা প্রতিষেধক এর ব্যবহার অনুমোদন করেনি। পরীক্ষামূলক পর্যায়ে কিছু ঔষধের ব্যবহার হলেও তা এখনো সর্বজনীন ব্যবহারের অনুমোদন পায়নি। তাই, এধরনের তথ্য এই সংকটের মাঝে বিভ্রান্তি ছড়াবে এবং চিকিৎসাসেবায় বিঘ্ন ঘটানোর সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করবে।

বিশ্বব্যাপী ছড়িয়ে পড়া করোনা ভাইরাসের মহামারী ইতিমধ্যে ব্যপক প্রাণহানির কারন হয়ে দাড়িয়েছে, একই সাথে সামাজিক, অর্থনৈতিক এবং রাষ্ট্রীয় ব্যবস্থায় এক বিরূপ প্রভাব পড়তে শুরু করেছে। এরকম সংকটকালীন সময়ে সঠিক তথ্যের ব্যবহার ও প্রচার অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

উদ্ভূত পরিস্থিতিতে সারা বিশ্বের ন্যায় বাংলাদেশেও এক সংকট সৃষ্টি করেছে এবং এই অভূতপূর্ব সংকটে দেশ এক ক্রান্তিকালীন সময় পার করছে। এই অবস্থায় স্বাস্থ্য সেবাদানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে রোশ বাংলাদেশ সরকার এবং এদেশের মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর বিষয়ে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ এবং উদ্ভূত পরিস্থিতিতে সম্মিলিতভাবে কাজ করার বিষয়ে সদিচ্ছা ব্যক্ত করছে। যেকোন পরিস্থিতিতে রোশ রোগীর চিকিৎসাকে প্রাধান্য দিয়ে থাকে এবং সেলক্ষ্যে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টার বিষয়ে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ থাকে।

রোশ এর পরিচিতিঃ

Covid-19: Media Release

An information has gone viral in social media and few other mass media referring a news of invention of vaccine for Covid-19 patients who are affected by Corona Virus. Mentioning the reference of USA the news has been spread with a photo which has come to the attention of Roche Bangladesh. Basically this is a fake news and there is no publication of such news as of today. USA President Donald Trump has declared a news of emergency use approval of a diagnostic tool of Roche for Covid-19 detection and this news has been fabricated and shared by many.

Till now there is no invention of any medicine or vaccine to treat Covid-19 and fight corona pandemic. World Health organization or any other global organization did not approve any medicine or vaccine yet to treat Covid-19 patients. Few medicines are being used as part of clinical trials which are not approved for the mass treatment. Thus, these fake news will mislead the people amid this crisis and this might hamper the treatment.

Corona virus has already become the reason of thousands of deaths globally, at the same time this has started negative impact on societies, economy and state system. During such crisis, right use of information and publication are very important.

Due to the global pandemic, Bangladesh is also experiencing a crisis and now country is going through a critical time.
